According to Louisiana First News, her definition of winning has shifted over time. “Winning to me looks like purpose. It looks like being driven. It looks like giving back,” Green explained. Now a wife, mother, and author, she brings those values into everything she does—whether mentoring teens or speaking about mental resilience.
After years of chasing basketball dreams, including a professional stint overseas, Green faced emotional burnout. That experience became the foundation for her book, Stronger Every Day, which explores the mental toll of high-level athletics and the challenge of rebuilding your identity afterward.
