AVENUES RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT CENTERS

Where you’ll get sober.
And stay sober.

Recover for good with evidence-based residential drug and alcohol
treatment — and the best people you’ll ever meet. Treating adults 18+

Residential treatment isn’t easy.

If you’re thinking about treatment for drugs or alcohol, you know the journey ahead will be difficult. Cutting substances out of your life seems impossible right now. And you may be wondering: What if I’m back to square 1 in just a few months?

But Avenues… works.

At Avenues, you’ll go beyond traditional residential treatment, getting the tools and human support you need to cut substances out in your real life, too. It’s how we have such unbelievably low relapse rates — and a close-knit community that sticks together, long after they’ve graduated from treatment.

You may need residential treatment if…

You’ve tried a drug or alcohol outpatient addiction treatment in the past, but it was too hard to quit.

You’re neglecting important responsibilities because you’re under the influence... or to avoid feeling guilty.

You have a secret stash that you don’t tell anyone about.

You’re drinking (or drugging) away your problems using substances to handle difficult problems or emotions.

You no longer pursue hobbies that once brought you pleasure. You find spending time with loved ones hard.

Why Avenues?

At Avenues, 92% of our clients are still clean a year after treatment!

I am endlessly grateful for the entire staff for all of the time and energy they put in to helping me find myself. I've been to a few other treatment centers on my journey and none of them have challenged me and changed me the way this place has. I can't possibly say enough good things. People here told me they would love me until I loved myself. That couldn't have been more true.

I have so much gratitude for Avenues. This facility is ran only by people who truly care and understand addiction. It was truly a privilege to get sober through this program. I learned so much about myself and my disease, how to ask for help and how to offer it; and was taught how to integrate into and get the most out of AA. Changed my life forever. I am so glad I stayed. Thank you, Avenues!

I was a client at Avenues Recovery Center at Lake Ariel. With a mix of group and individual attention, this is a place where you will make life long friends and will be taken care by a staff that is not only genuine but has a personal connection to the cause. Thank you Avenues for helping me on my recovery journey!

Ilana Portner

All the staff here have been wonderful, super helpful and very knowledgeable. I have been to other treatment facilities before and did not get what I have received here, which is a better understanding on what I need to do to recover. This facility has helped me work through things and feel better prepared than I ever have. I feel optimistic towards my new life.

Johnny Zayas

Was looking for a treatment center for my husband and happened upon this. I am so satisfied with information and the help we received. Tanaisha was such a great help! She went above and beyond to get help for my husband. She was so informative, so compassionate, but above all she listened! We are eternally grateful to her! I am confident where my husband is placed, he will get the help he needs!

Shannon Bryant

Avenues was everything I did not know I needed for my recovery- I came in not knowing what to expect, and was met with so much compassion and understanding aimed towards my rehabilitation. the staff here really does go above and beyond to provide emotional support through every struggle you face. You probably
have questions,
like:

How much does residential treatment cost?

The cost of residential drug and alcohol rehab is usually between $500 to $650 daily, most of which is covered by insurance plans. However, this varies based  on many factors. Things like location, length of stay, amenities included, and other such factors all play a role in actual price.

Although industry average for residential treatment (also known as addiction inpatient treatment) usually lands at about 500 to 650 dollars a day, and upwards of 10,000 dollars monthly, it is important to remember that most insurances will cover most if not all of the costs of your stay at a drug and alcohol treatment program like Avenues Recovery Center.

Your out-of-pocket costs will depend on your deductible. There may be programs that can help defray those costs as well, and our case management team can help you fully utilize your insurance policy and research all options of financial relief.

Even though at first glance, addiction treatment seems expensive, Avenues Recovery Center believes that drug treatment should not be an option only for the wealthy. People from every financial bracket can enter Avenues treatment programs without an undue financial burden.

When is residential treatment necessary?

One of the most telling signs of the need for alcohol and drug rehab is work and life dysfunction. A dependent or addicted drug user will ignore many of their basic responsibilities and just focus on their overwhelming need to get high. Their lives will become chaotic, they will underperform at their job, and they will often do serious damage to important family and friend relationships.

Other symptoms that are telltale signs that it is time to seek residential treatment include mood swings, higher tolerance levels for your drug of choice (meaning it will take larger doses for the user to get high), a lack of ability to stop using on your own, and a disinterest in things you previously enjoyed doing.

Drug and alcohol residential treatment centers like Avenues Recovery will address all of these issues with a personalized treatment plan designed for your needs and unique circumstances.

How long is residential treatment?

Residential treatment programs typically last for 28 to 30 days, but can extend as long as three months or more. Nevertheless, the average length of stay at residential drug and alcohol treatment varies greatly from person to person.

Although the industry average is between 28 to 30 days, many times clients need more time to become secure in their recovery. Sometimes, staying in inpatient drug rehab for 60 to 90 days (and sometimes beyond that) will provide a much better opportunity for  sustained recovery. Avenues Recovery Center offers extended stay options and works together with insurance companies to ensure that clients get the drug and alcohol rehab duration that they need.

Is residential treatment considered inpatient?

Inpatient drug and alcohol rehab is another term for residential addiction treatment. They both describe drug treatment where the client resides in the security of an addiction treatment center and has no other responsibilities aside from getting well, becoming sober, and learning the coping skills and tools that will allow them to stay committed to their recovery for life.

Do I need residential treatment?

If you are struggling with alcohol or drug dependence or addiction, entering a residential rehab center can offer you a way back to a productive and meaningful life. if you're unsure if you need rehab, the admissions experts at Avenues Recovery Center are just a phone call away and can help you assess the extent of your addiction. They will explore together with you what the best addiction treatment options are for your specific situation, and whether it is right for you to go to residential treatment.

There are many levels of addiction treatment, and understanding your needs will help you decide if residential drug and alcohol treatment is right for you.

Do residential treatment centers work?

The short answer is yes. Many people have found stability and long-lasting recovery from  substance use disorders (SUDs) through drug and alcohol residential treatment programs like Avenues Recovery Center. There have been many encouraging studies showing the value of entering inpatient rehab. Inpatient treatment will identify underlying causes of addiction, and teach clients skills and coping mechanisms for managing triggers, avoiding or recovering from relapses, and maintaining supportive relationships. A good residential drug and alcohol rehab program can truly change the lives of someone suffering from SUD and their families.

What if I am slightly addicted but still want help?

Slight substance dependence can often evolve into really severe addictions. Much like physical illnesses, identifying and managing SUD at its earliest stages may be the key to full recovery. It is certainly a good idea to explore residential drug treatment at the first sign of concern. A short phone call with the admissions team at Avenues Recovery Center can help guide you to the path best for you.

Does rehab cure addiction?

Substance use disorder cannot be cured, but managed, and a former user can enjoy a peaceful life of sobriety.

Addiction is a chronic brain disease that affects people from every walk of life, and it has no known cure. However, recovery is possible. Substance use disorder can be managed and a former user can enjoy a peaceful life of sobriety. Inpatient treatment centers like Avenues Recovery give clients a full toolbox to cope with the realities of someone suffering from the disease of addiction. In residential drug and alcohol rehab, clients will address the root causes of addiction , identify triggers, and receive training in how to cope in vulnerable moments without resorting to drugs or alcohol. At Avenues, they will also become part of a like-minded community and enjoy staff and peer support to support their lasting addiction recovery journey.

What is living in a treatment center like?

Living in a residential treatment center can be a very peaceful experience. At Avenues Recovery Center, every effort is made to ensure that the client is well cared for, well nourished, and in a peaceful environment supporting recovery. They are given the opportunity to establish rewarding relationships with both staff and fellow clients, enjoy the security of being part of a community, and the safety that comes with accompanied outstanding medical care.

It is important to understand the value of having fun in recovery and not requiring an illicit substance to enjoy life. At inpatient drug and alcohol treatment centers in the mold of Avenues Recovery Center, having fun is a primary focus and the experience will long be remembered in a positive way.
