A large drug operation spanning multiple parishes in Louisiana has been dismantled after a joint investigation uncovered indoor grow sites, narcotics, and a significant number of firearms, while one suspect connected to the case remains on the run.
Authorities say the operation stretched across Orleans and Jefferson parishes, where investigators found multiple cultivation setups and seized drugs, weapons, and cash, pointing to what officials described as a coordinated effort rather than isolated activity.

On March 19, detectives executed search warrants at two locations in Jefferson Parish, where they found indoor grow setups and seized about 190 marijuana plants along with 45 pounds of processed marijuana, leading to arrests at both sites.
The following day, the operation expanded into Algiers, where another search uncovered a third grow site. Investigators reported finding around 230 additional plants, along with other drugs, cash, and evidence that pointed to an organized system rather than isolated activity.
