Carly Geoghan serves as the Operations Manager at Avenues Recovery Center at South Bend. As proud native of South Bend, Indiana, she joined the recovery field with a deeply personal connection and clear purpose. Sheltered from the realities of addiction in her youth, Carly found herself facing this challenge when she discovered her husband's substance use disorder shortly after their marriage in 2020. Determined to understand and support him, she immersed herself in the field of addiction recovery. This journey not only strengthened her marriage—her husband has celebrated over 2.5 years of sobriety! —but also ignited a passion for raising awareness about addiction and its impact. Carly is driven to bridge the knowledge gap and combat societal stigma around this growing crisis.

As a lifelong resident of South Bend, she is honored to contribute to the transformative work happening in her community. She is committed to helping her neighbors reclaim their lives and futures.
In her downtime, Carly enjoys the peace and escape found in a good book. She also cherishes quality time with her children, embracing creative pursuits like crafts and outdoor adventures. A passionate animal lover, Carly has built a sanctuary for rescued pets, including 16 guinea pigs, two rescued cats, and two adopted dogs, much to her husband’s amazement.
