Ericka Ivery serves as a Primary Therapist at Avenues Recovery Center at Richmond. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, she now lives in Midlothian, Virginia. She earned a Master of Science in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Ericka is currently an LPC Resident working toward full licensure.
Ericka’s approach to addiction treatment is rooted in compassion, empowerment, and self-discovery. She believes recovery is about more than overcoming substance use—it is about helping individuals rebuild their self-worth, rediscover their strengths, and develop the confidence to create lasting change. Supporting clients as they find hope, purpose, and a renewed sense of identity is what continues to inspire her work.
Outside of work, Ericka enjoys spending time with her beloved husband, daughter, and grand-dog, Eclipse, a playful Morkie. She loves traveling, exploring new cultures, attending local festivals, and discovering great food, music, and community events throughout Virginia.
