Kathi Thompson

Kathi Thompson is a dedicated administrative assistant at Avenues Recovery Center at Prince Frederick. Originally from College Park, Maryland, she brings a deep passion for supporting individuals on their recovery journey. Kathi attended the University of Hawaii and is currently exploring further educational opportunities in the field of addiction treatment.

As a person in long-term recovery, Kathi understands firsthand that addiction does not define a person. She firmly believes that with dedication and support, anyone can overcome life’s challenges. Having previously worked as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), she was drawn to Avenues by its strong reputation and now finds fulfillment in playing a role in clients' recovery journeys.

Outside of work, Kathi loves traveling, spending time with family and friends, and staying active. A lifelong sports enthusiast, she played softball throughout high school and even took up surfing during her time in Hawaii!
