Primary Counselor

Lyndsay Murphy-Sweet

Lyndsay Murphy-Sweet serves as  a primary counselor at Avenues Recovery Center at Prince Frederick. Originally from Lititz, Pennsylvania, she is passionate about guiding individuals toward healing and recovery. Lyndsay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling and Criminal Justice from Grace College and is currently completing her Master’s in Addiction Counseling at Liberty University, set to graduate in May.

Lyndsay’s dedication to addiction treatment stems from witnessing firsthand how trauma and mental health struggles can shape a person’s life well into adulthood. She understands the ripple effect of addiction —not only on the individual but on everyone around them. Her mission is to help people reclaim their power, heal from the past, and build a fulfilling life free from substances.

Outside of work, Lyndsay loves to travel, explore new restaurants, and spend time with her husband and dog. She stays fit through boating, paddle boarding, and other outdoor adventures, is an active member of her church community, and relishes the opportunities that each new day brings!
