Avenues Recovery Center has officially opened its new inpatient treatment facility in Fort Collins, expanding access to comprehensive addiction care across northern Colorado. Recently, Ethan Carlson with Denver7 visited the center to speak with Clinical Director Ryan Plourde and Client Engagement Specialist Kristen Pogline about the impact this new facility will have on the community.
The center offers individualized 45-day residential programs—longer than the traditional 30-day model—designed to improve long-term recovery outcomes. By integrating mental health and substance use treatment, maintaining small counselor caseloads, and supporting clients from admission through discharge planning, Avenues prioritizes meaningful connection, continuity of care, and lasting success. The facility accepts commercial insurance and Medicaid and works closely with community partners to ensure treatment remains accessible for those who need it most.
