She's passionate about ensuring that care remains accessible and nonjudgmental, recognizing that recovery is rarely linear - and that lasting change is rooted in respectful, human support.

Her family recently relocated to Fort Collins from the Denver metro area, and is excited to explore all that Northern Colorado has to offer! A former college soccer player, she loves staying active and being outdoors (partly to tire out her two Energizer Bunnies;)). Ryan's passion lies in creating real change—helping people discover their potential, rebuild their lives, and ultimately make meaningful contributions to their communities.

Outside of work, Ryan enjoys a rich and active lifestyle in the company of his wife and their dogs and cat. In his his downtime, he enjoys playing ice hockey, attending concerts, paddleboarding, and exploring the Great Outdoors.

Kaitlin Hansen

Lead Behavioral Health Technician
Read bio

Kate Hansen serves as Lead Behavioral Health Technician at Avenues Recovery Center at Fort Collins. She lives in Fort Collins CO, where she moved just over two years ago from sunny Phoenix, Arizona. Kate has set her sights on returning to school to become a Licensed Addiction Counselor — a natural next step in her lifelong commitment to helping others heal.

With more than five and a half years in recovery herself, Kate's passion for this field is deeply personal. Recovery, she says, changed her life, and now she’s dedicated to helping others find the same hope and transformation. She believes that true recovery begins with connection, empathy, and meeting people exactly where they are. Every person’s path is different, and Kate feels privileged to walk alongside each individual as they rediscover their strength and purpose.

Outside of work, Kate cherishes time with her wife, Hailey, their two children, and their beloved dog, Yogi Bear. Together they enjoy exploring new restaurants, cheering on their son at football games, fishing, hiking, and soaking in the beauty of Northern Colorado’s great outdoors.

Devin Conrad

Primary Counselor
Read bio
Originally from Altoona, PA, Devin Conrad brings both lived experience and strong academic training to his work in addiction treatment. He earned his B.A. of cience in Psychology from Penn State University, and a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver. Devin is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) pursuing full LPC licensure, as well as an ADDC working toward his LAC.

Devin chose this career path for two connected reasons. Having worked with many legally-involved clients, Devin is skilled at navigating the complex intersection of addiction, mental health, and criminal justice - which many clients face. Outside the counseling room, Devin is a devoted father of two little children. He enjoys writing and recording music, hiking, fishing, and reading about spiritual
philosophy and psychology—interests that continue to guide both his personal growth and his work with others.

Jill Conner

Primary Counselor
Read bio
Jill Conner serves as a Primary Counselor as Avenues Recovery Center at Fort Collins. Originally from Oskaloosa, Iowa, she moved to Colorado in 2002 and now lives in Loveland - a place she absolutely loves. Jill holds a BA in English from William Penn University, and an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. As both a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), she is a dual-licensed clinician.
Jill’s connection to addiction treatment is deeply personal, since she has been in long-term recovery from meth use since July 2002. Her decision to enter this field was driven by her daughters’ struggles with addiction, and her firsthand experience navigating broken treatment systems. After losing her oldest daughter to a tragic fentanyl overdose in 2016, Jill’s passion for her work only deepened. She is driven by a fierce commitment to offer hope, healing, and possibility to those still fighting their way toward recovery.
Family is at the center of Jill’s life. She and her husband share three children, two grandchildren, and a home full of pets—including two dogs and four cats. When she’s not working, Jill enjoys simple joys: listening to Blue October, admiring butterflies, and spotting the moon in the daytime sky. One day, she hopes to travel to Vietnam to visit her son and his family.
