My son entered rehab in December of 2023, finally willing ... Once he got there, he committed to 90 days with the intent to leave. I was scared and frantic... he wasn’t ready to leave just yet. I messaged his counselor, who was always there listening to my worries and concerns. Helped me reason with my son why it was best to stay. Today he is 6 months sober and going strong. If it wasn’t for Avenues my son would not be alive. And no mother should bury her son before her. They did an amazing job with him, as he fought them every step of the way. This place is phenomenal!! The classes are amazing and you learn a lot about yourself and your addiction. No other rehab I’ve been to has been like this one. The staff is really about you and your recovery, they genuinely care! You also make amazing friends to keep in recovery. I seriously came in so broken and lost but by the time I graduated I’m a completely different person. It’s insane. I love myself and understand myself so much more. I can’t thank avenue’s enough for giving me my life back and getting me back on my feet.

…Mostly I can say that I am truly grateful for the lifelong family that I have been gifted♥♥♥♥ Sometimes I felt like I was at summer camp for broken people, and that laughter and joy I began to experience was the healing I needed.

I made more progress here in the 60 days I stayed than I have in the lifetime of therapy I have had. I strongly suggest this place to anyone struggling with addiction. Please come, they will help!

Avenues Recovery genuinely saved my life. Working this program with the support of the staff and clinical team, I have found a new outlook on life. This is literally the best place you could ever go to find recovery. The staff here became family to me, literally. I've never met people so supportive in my life...they pushed me to work harder on myself, and they actually helped me find my voice... I was shown what love and caring really is by these people...

...This place definitely saved my life. I was lost, broken, hopeless, depressed and ashamed of everything I had gone through and all the things that I'd done. From the moment I entered, I was welcomed with warm arms. Everyone was so welcoming, understanding and compassionate. I learned so many skills to help me during early recovery, to maintain recovery. The group facilitators are amazing. The therapists I had there were especially helpful, I will never be able to repay them. I met so many wonderful people that had different stories but ultimately the same experience with this disease. The tiny but mighty community this place has is what kept me going when I wanted to give up and quit. Thank you for everything.

I was there at Avenues... for 35 days. I arrived and a gentleman named Steve welcomed me with open arms and a high five. I was at rock bottom of my life, addicted to crack cocaine and drinking all day, every day. The first couple of days were tough, going through detox, but the support you get... from the whole staff helps you big time. Attending classes every day and the interaction of all the other clients, we formed a great bond. I’m very proud to say I am still sober today, I found full time employment and going strong! I can’t say enough about the program! I highly recommend Avenues to anyone that is struggling with addiction - this is the place to go. Thank you to Steve and staff for helping me find me again.

Avenues has been life changing! The staff and counselors are so knowledgeable and welcoming. They taught me so much about my addiction and met me with so much love and acceptance. Most of the techs are in the recovery community and really showed us understanding and what sobriety can truly be. I'm so excited for the next phase in my journey, knowing I have this amazing group of people in my corner! I love you all and am immensely grateful for everything you do. 💜

Hands down this is the absolute best rehabilitation center in the state of Louisiana!! All the staff there are absolutely amazing, and they actually truly care about these patients, and most of them are in recovery as well so they know what it's like to be in your shoes!! I would recommend Avenues/Townsend to anyone and everyone who may ask for my opinion on where they should go for treatment!! So, if you are serious about recovery and actually want to be sober, then Avenues/Townsend is the place to go!!

This was my first (and hopefully last) time at rehab. My very first night I was absolutely terrified. My initial plan was to only stay for 2 weeks, but after detoxing I realized I needed to work on my inner demons, and the entire staff helped me along the way. They really care about you and want you to succeed, and I ended up... extending my program to 45 days, that’s how much fun I had over there! I just recently made 6 months sober and never in my entire addiction did I think I could get this far. This place truly changed my life for the better and everyone around me can see it... I walked in as this shy, insecure girl and I walked out as the confident, optimistic woman I was always meant to be. I literally couldn’t have done it without this place.

Like most people who enter an inpatient facility, I had my doubts. However, the staff and the curriculum, which includes all addictions... made me feel comfortable, and I learned so much about myself. I am walking out of here a changed man with confidence that my future will be filled with the opposite of addiction... and that is connections! Thank you all! I love you!

I won't lie, at first I wanted to run right out the door. But I gave it a shot, and with the encouragement and support of the staff and my peers here at Avenues, I made huge changes in not only myself but my life. First I had to realize that the biggest problem I needed to deal with was myself. If you are looking for rehabilitation for your substance abuse issues, I would recommend Avenues 10/10. Don't wait until your family is planning your funeral when you could be planning for a successful future here at Avenues!

Everything was fantastic, will be my recommendation to anyone still sick and suffering!! To all the staff I will think about you EVERYDAY and be thankful for you!!
