FAQs about
the Avenues experience

Is Avenues Recovery rehab covered by insurance?

Yes. Avenues Recovery Center is in-network with virtually all government and commercial insurances, in keeping with our core belief that quality addiction treatment should be accessible to all. To verify your insurance coverage or discuss financing options, reach out to our knowledgeable admissions team today

How long is drug and alcohol rehab?

In general, most drug and alcohol treatment programs last between 28 to 30 days. But this may not always be enough to meet the needs of people with a serious substance use disorder.

At Avenues, we understand that each person’s recovery journey is as unique as they are. Length of stay is determined by each client’s individual circumstances and needs. We are equipped to accommodate residential stays of up to a few months, and offer extended – care options for as long as a client may need.

Does Avenues drug and alcohol rehab address co-occurring mental health disorders?

Yes. Avenues Recovery Center offers a comprehensive, evidence-based substance abuse and dual diagnosis treatment curriculum, and employs addiction specialists who are fully trained to treat any co-occurring disorders – including depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, and the like.

Am I allowed to smoke while at Avenues?

Yes! Avenues understands the importance of finding relaxing outlets during one’s recovery journey. Every Avenues facility has designated smoking areas, where clients are free to smoke and vape whenever they are not involved in group and sessions.

Can I have visitors while at Avenues?

Yes! Every Avenues facility welcomes and encourages loved ones to come in for in-person family and couple counseling sessions, and many facilities offer weekly visiting hours as well. Please reach out to the specific facility you are interested in for more details.
