In an exciting recent development, Avenues Recovery Center’s two Louisiana facilities have been awarded the BCBS (Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana) Blue Distinction Award in recognition of the outstanding work being done at these locations.
“Blue Distinction” is a designation awarded by the Blue Cross Blue Shield company to medical facilities across a range of specialties that have demonstrated expertise, high-quality healthcare, and consistently positive treatment outcomes. In the words of Blue Cross Blue Shield, “Blue Distinction Centers are providers recognized for their expertise in delivering specialty care.”
Like each of our eleven locations, Avenues Recovery Center at Metairie and Avenues Recovery Center at Covington provide cutting-edge substance abuse treatment programs in a clean, modern environment. Both locations offer a full continuum of care, spanning detox, residential, and outpatient services – so we can accompany you along every leg of your journey. The staff here are trained to treat substance use and all co-occurring mental health disorders, and the range of conventional and alternative therapies at their fingertips allows every Avenues client to discover their own unique path towards healing and recovery. Earning the title of a “Blue Distinction Center” in both of our Louisiana locations is gratifying, because it means that it’s now simpler for people to find and benefit from our treatment in a market flooded by options.
