Jamie has been working in the mental health field since 2017. He grew up in Methuen, Massachusetts, and later moved to New Hampshire in his early 20s. When he learned he was going to be a father, Jamie decided he wanted to set an example for his children by pursuing an education. It took him 10 years, off and on, to find his calling in psychology. Once he realized his passion, Jamie changed his major at Mount Washington College and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He then continued his education at Southern New Hampshire University, where he obtained a Master’s degree in Psychology. Currently, he is pursuing a degree in Mental Health Counseling at his alma mater, with the goal of becoming independently licensed.
After spending several years in sales, Jamie had a change of heart when he lost someone close to him to an overdose. He wanted to make a difference in people’s lives by helping them find peace and happiness without turning to substances. Jamie has since found great fulfillment in his career and is grateful for the wonderful people he has met and worked with along the way.
Jamie lives with his dog, Huey, and has two grown sons. He enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and doing other physical activities with his family. Jamie is also learning to play the guitar and speak Spanish, two things that have been on his bucket list. He firmly believes in the potential for personal growth and strives to seize every opportunity to better himself and others.
