Jeff Burt serves as Clinical Supervisor at Avenues Recovery Center at Fort Collins. Originally from Royal Oak, Michigan (a suburb of Detroit), Jeff brings both heart and curiosity to his work in addiction treatment. He earned his Bachelor’s in Business Marketing from Michigan State University, and a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Adler University in Chicago - and most recently completed a course in Clinical Supervision to further strengthen his leadership and mentorship skills.
Jeff has been passionate about addiction treatment since the very beginning of his career. Deeply curious about people and what drives change, he finds meaning in working within a community setting—particularly in group therapy, where he’s witnessed remarkable growth and transformation in clients over a short period of time. For Jeff, it’s a privilege to walk alongside people as they rediscover their potential and rebuild their lives.
Outside of work, Jeff leads an active and adventurous life. He enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, and practicing hot yoga—a habit he’s maintained for more than 20 years. His dog, Olive, ensures he gets plenty of time outdoors, while his three young nephews keep him busy with “kid adventures.” Jeff also loves to travel and often takes the initiative in planning trips for himself and others.
