Mylira is deeply committed to lifelong learning and professional development. She actively pursues ongoing education and advanced training to enhance her work in clinical leadership, supervision, and trauma-informed care within substance use treatment.
She chose a career in addiction treatment because she believes recovery is more than abstinence—it is about healing the whole person. At Avenues, Mylira is passionate about creating environments where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to engage in meaningful transformation. Her approach to addiction treatment is person-centered, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and rooted in dignity, accountability, and hope. She is honored to walk alongside both clients and staff in the pursuit of lasting change.
Outside of work, Mylira enjoys traveling and exploring different climates, finding peace in both the calm of the water and the stillness of the mountains. She has a deep love for history, making museums her happy place. Comedy brings her joy, and music fuels her spirit. Mylira is a proud wife and mother who values family, faith, and intentional time with loved ones. These passions keep her grounded, curious, and connected, shaping how she shows up both personally and professionally.
